The 72nd Independence day of our motherland was celebrated in St.Joseph's Pre University college with traditional Patriotic fervor. The chief guest Lt. Col. Emmanuel P Dayal in his emotionally charged speech motivated our your students to believe in themselves and do their best for their country. He rekindled the spirit of patriotism with his own life story. Our Principal Rev.Fr. Melvin Lobo S.J in his message highlighted the grant strides made by India in various fields and also mentioned the ill's that plague our society. A plethora of cultural events celebrating the rich culture and heritage of our country were performed. The performances also raised a voice against the injustice practice and violence against women in our society. An ethnic wear competition was held on the occasion. Prizes were distributed for all the competitions held during the patriotic week.
